# Idioms
- to see eye to eye
: to have similar views or attitudes to something; be in full agreement.
c.f. usually implies sarcastic meaning by the boss, forced to agree
- to set thing right
: to correct or solve an issue.
e.g. I'm sorry about what I said earlier; I'm here to set thing right.
- to agree to disagree
: to agree not to argue anymore about a difference of opinion.
c.f. uses when there is no possibility to move forward.
# memo
- amicable
a. relating to behaviour between people that is pleasant and friendly, often despite a difficult situation.
- argue has quite strong meaning. 'disagreement' is less strong.
- my way or highway
: The attitude of believing that one is always right and that anyone who doesn't agree has no business dealing with you.
e.g. My boss seems to believe in my way or highway. He micromanages everyone and fires anyone who disagrees with him about anything.
c.f. became a famous expression after a film, Matrix.
- It is very important that your members of the team feel like they are valuable asset to the team.
- setting someone up for failure.
e.g. I was being set up for failure in the first place.
