오랜만에 캠블리 리캡

오늘은 올랜도에 사는 데이브쌤

간단하게 소개를 하면서 느낀 점은 간결하고 필요한 말만 딱 골라서 하는 느낌

아무래도 30분이라는 시간 제한이 있으니, 어느 정도 진도를 빼주려고 하는 모습이었다.

레벨테스트의 느낌으로 phrasal verb를 가지고 수업을 하였다.

 

1. rip off

: to steal someone's ideas, designs, etc. and present them as one's own.

e.g. I got ripped off once when I traveled to Paris, France.

 

2. wear out

: to be exhausted

e.g. This week has been so busy. I was toally worn out after the work on Friday.

 

3. pull out

: to withdraw; to stop being involved in an activity, event, agreement, etc.

e.g. The investor has to pull out of the business.

 

4. turn out

:  to develop or end in a particular way; to prove to be the case

e.g. The task turned out to be beyond his abilities.

 

5. catch on

: to become popular

e.g. This song is so good, and it’s catching on.
